It's not easy...I drove my wife's Sienna with hand controls a few times. I stick with the pedals.

It was very logical but not at all natural. Although I did find steering one-handed with a knob on the wheel to be kinda fun.

When I was a Dodge tech I drove a few converted Caravans. Yes I tried the hand controls. Yes they are touchy. Yes I laid rubber in the service drive on accident.
